History

I left high school in my senior year and joined the U.S. Army to become a Ground Surveillance Radar Technician with my friend Dave Didier; for 3 years the only thing I could think of was starting a Sound Company.  As soon as I was discharged I came back to Chicago and started working with some of my friends from high school in a band called Renegade.

It was around this time that I met Les Kurtz and we formed a sound & lighting company called "Andromeda Systems". Things were going very strong for us until Les had to leave the business to attend to family matters. Les and I often wondered where things would have went if we had stayed the course.

Along the way I met Mark Bales who owned Loud Sound, which later became Diversified Audio Group. H
e added me to his stable of quality engineers in the early 8o's. DAG is still a major factor in the Chicago Concert scene.

Over the many years which have now spanned decades, I have had the unique honor of providing FOH or On Stage Monitor duties for some of Chicago's finest Local bands & Nationally acclaimed acts as well.
